The kitten in the night...I was sixteen years old at the time I almost gotten over the childhood wish I had. I remember being terribly sad because I hadn't had a cat to grow up with… And then, out of the blue, I had a small chance of seeing that wish come true, even only for a short while.

When I was little, my parents and I discussed the fact that our house wasn't big enough for a cat, and that it would be cruel to keep it "such a cramped up space". Good, but... I think it would have made it better, IF the snowflake partially in front of her eye had been on her nose instead.

I made the snowflake especially because i wasn't sure how how to make her gaze cuter

, since it didn't seem focused on the anything in the distance.
